California Licensed Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of high-performance applications, the full-time California Licensed Software Engineer will focus on implementing Oracle PL/SQL and Java solutions for the enterprise retirement administration platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of Java and PL/SQL-based applications to meet business requirements
• Implement and optimize business logic using PL/SQL packages, procedures, and triggers
• Mentor team members and conduct detailed code reviews to ensure quality and security standards are met

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive software development experience, including system design and architecture
• Advanced experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Java
• Strong understanding of relational database design and performance tuning
• Experience with Oracle APEX, Git, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
