Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, a California Licensed Software Engineer II will design and develop custom software and systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, and enhance product value through technical solutions and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop software according to ticket specifications while participating in code reviews
- Engage in scrum ceremonies, including backlog grooming and sprint planning, to facilitate project progress
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workflows and propose enhancements based on critical analysis
Required qualifications
- A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in Python development
- Experience with Flask and/or Django frameworks and frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in working with relational (e.g., MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- Ability to develop, maintain, and enhance Python applications with a focus on scalability and security
- Basic understanding of Docker containers and web services (e.g., REST, SOAP)
