Job Summary
Leading the Platform Integration function, the full-time California Licensed Software Engineering Manager will drive API strategy, oversee event-driven architecture, and ensure operational excellence while collaborating with multiple engineering teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Create and implement an organization-wide strategy for API governance and lifecycle management
- Own and evolve the event registry, establishing standards for event schemas and versioning
- Chair a weekly Production Readiness and Review Council to ensure operational and security standards are met
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems
- 5+ years of experience supporting cloud-native applications on platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- 5+ years of experience managing APIs at scale across multiple teams
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms
