California Licensed Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

Partnering closely with two Enterprise Client Executives, the full-time California Licensed Solutions Engineer will serve as a trusted technical advisor, managing customer engagements and developing account strategies to modernize data infrastructure in a remote role based in the San Francisco/San Jose area.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consultative discovery sessions to identify business initiatives and technical challenges for enterprise customers
• Design and position technical solutions from the NetApp portfolio aligned with customer business outcomes
• Manage multiple customer engagements while collaborating with channel partners and internal specialists to ensure successful implementations

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or related fields within an enterprise technology environment
• Proven success in supporting enterprise customers through complex technology sales cycles
• Strong foundation in storage or storage-adjacent infrastructure technologies
• Broad technical knowledge across enterprise infrastructure, including storage, virtualization, and hybrid cloud
• Experience designing solutions that align technical capabilities with business objectives
