Job Summary
To provide compassionate care for adults with progressive neurodegenerative conditions, a California Licensed Speech Pathologist will work remotely on a 1099 contract basis, targeting 10-20 hours per week, focusing on assessment, intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct virtual assessments and develop patient-centered treatment plans for speech and cognitive-communication disorders
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and educate caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex cases and participate in clinical consultations
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Active state license (or eligibility for licensure) in at least one US state
- 3-5+ years of clinical experience as a licensed SLP, with experience in adult neurodegenerative populations
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telepractice software
