Job Summary
To support a growing claims operation, the part-time remote California Licensed Sr. Claim Examiner will interpret complex policy coverages, manage investigative activities on claims, and analyze claims activity while preparing reports for clients and management.
Key responsibilities
- Interprets policy coverages and makes independent decisions on complex claims
- Manages investigative activities and directs litigation strategy with legal counsel
- Establishes reserves and authorizes payments, ensuring timely disbursements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4-8 years of experience in claims or a similar organization
- Workers Compensation (WC) Adjuster License required
- Technical claims investigations and settling experience
- Industry designations such as IIA, AIC, AEI, and/or CPCU preferred
