California Licensed Sr. Paralegal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Paralegal, Real Estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Order and review title commitments, exception documents, and surveys, resolving issues with title companies and surveyors
• Prepare and coordinate the execution of real estate agreements and various land and title documents
• Coordinate and assist with all aspects of closings, including preparation of closing documents and post-closing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of real estate paralegal experience in an in-house legal department or at a law firm
• Previous experience in the renewable energy industry preferred, but not required
• Transactional experience and familiarity with closing mechanics and documentation
• Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required
