California Licensed Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the monthly and quarterly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis
• Manage accounting activities related to cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intangibles
• Provide detailed reports and analyses to support financial reporting and decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in Big 4 public accounting or high-growth companies
• CPA or actively working towards CPA designation
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership
