California Licensed Staff Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time California Licensed Staff Accountant will prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and assist with internal and external audits in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close processes
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies with operations and IT
• Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and internal financial statement preparation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation
• Familiarity with ASC 842 lease accounting
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, preferably Agility and NetSuite
