Job Summary

Seeking a highly experienced California Licensed Staff Software Engineer, the full-time remote position will lead the architecture and development of software solutions for the Sales & Retail platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of software solutions, making strategic technical decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with business objectives and communicate technical concepts effectively
• Perform code reviews and advocate for best coding practices to ensure product efficiency and maintainability

Required qualifications

• At least 8 years of software development experience
• Required experience with Java and Ruby
• Proven experience with the development, scaling, and maintenance of distributed systems
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and agile development methodologies
• Effective communication skills for conveying complex ideas clearly
