California Licensed Statutory Accountant

Job Summary

California Licensed Statutory Accountant, this fully remote contract position involves preparing U.S. Statutory financial statements and supporting the statutory reporting team through 2026 and possibly into 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete quarterly U.S. Statutory financial statements in compliance with NAIC guidelines
• Coordinate with divisions for accuracy of inputs and assist in quarterly planning meetings
• Support statutory filings, ledger validation, and various projects assigned by the Director

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Strong Insurance Statutory Reporting background required
• Proficient in ledger and Excel skills
• Ability to manage responsibilities under tight deadlines
