California Licensed Structural Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Structural Engineer - Rail and Transit Facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop engineering products that meet customer quality requirements, including problem definition, work scope establishment, budgeting, and scheduling
• Create detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, and technical reports for transit-related structures
• Provide input and technical support to project teams, focusing on the design of structural aspects of transit terminal stations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field)
• 3 years or more of related work experience; a Master's degree is desirable
• EIT certification is required; PE certification is desirable but not required
• Proficiency in utilizing BIM/Revit and typical engineering software is required
• Experience in the analysis and design of concrete and steel buildings using current building codes is required
