Job Summary
To support survey mapping projects, the full-time California Licensed Sub-Division Mapping Manager will act as the primary point of contact for clients, prepare and review survey maps, and manage the plat recording and permitting processes, primarily onsite in San Diego, California.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and review work produced by staff to ensure quality assurance and effective execution of projects
- Coordinate with surveyors and clients to meet project requirements and quality standards for platting and land planning
- Prepare and review subdivision maps and legal documents while ensuring timely submissions to city and county governments
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent extensive experience in land planning and platting
- Ten or more years of experience managing survey mapping projects preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience in an architectural, construction, or civil engineering environment related to real estate development or permitting
- Strong knowledge of mapping and surveying principles, with familiarity in city/county plat permit processing
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D software, and Microsoft Office applications
