California Licensed Substation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Substation Engineer, the full-time contract position will focus on examining images of utility structures, identifying and prioritizing damage according to client standards, and collaborating with a diverse team while working remotely in the PST timezone.

Key responsibilities:

• Examine images of steel and wood poles, as well as steel lattice towers
• Identify and prioritize damage as specified in client standards
• Collaborate with team members and adjust work based on feedback

Required qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience as a Substation Engineer or in a related role
• Familiarity with software such as Windows Explorer, Office 365, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP, Sherlock/iHawk, and EDGIS is highly preferred
• Ability to learn and adapt to changing standards
• Willingness to accept correction and guidance
