Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Substation Engineer, the full-time contract position will focus on examining images of utility structures, identifying and prioritizing damage according to client standards, and collaborating with a diverse team while working remotely in the PST timezone.
Key responsibilities:
- Examine images of steel and wood poles, as well as steel lattice towers
- Identify and prioritize damage as specified in client standards
- Collaborate with team members and adjust work based on feedback
Required qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Substation Engineer or in a related role
- Familiarity with software such as Windows Explorer, Office 365, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SAP, Sherlock/iHawk, and EDGIS is highly preferred
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing standards
- Willingness to accept correction and guidance
