California Licensed Substation Engineer

Job Summary

To support critical infrastructure projects, the contract Substation Engineer will examine images of steel and wood poles and steel lattice towers, identify and prioritize damage according to client standards, and collaborate with a diverse team while working remotely in the PST timezone.

Key responsibilities

• Examine images of steel and wood poles and steel lattice towers for damage assessment
• Identify and prioritize damage as specified in client standards
• Collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Substation Engineer or in related fields
• Proficiency with software such as Windows Explorer, Office 365, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP, Sherlock/iHawk, EDGIS, etc. is highly preferred
• Ability to learn and adapt to changing standards
• Willingness to accept correction and guidance from peers
