California Licensed Systems Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Owning system stability and security, the fully remote California Licensed Systems Engineering Manager will lead a team in managing a complex Oracle Database and ERP environment on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure while ensuring performance and compliance during Pacific Time business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage system stability, security, performance, and compliance across the Oracle Database and ERP environment
• Lead a team of senior infrastructure professionals, overseeing their development and performance
• Implement modern infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and OCI-native tooling

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of Oracle Database administration experience in a mission-critical enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including tenancy design and disaster recovery
• Experience with Oracle ERP infrastructure at the database or middleware tier
• Active Terraform experience for provisioning and maintaining OCI resources
• Direct people management experience with full ownership of direct reports
