A company is looking for a Director of Tax Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the organization's tax policies and objectives
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; preference for a master's degree in Taxation
• Minimum of ten years of progressive responsibility in tax compliance, planning, and management
• In-depth understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Expertise in managing tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities
• Familiarity with tax software (OneSource) and financial systems (Netsuite)
