California Licensed Tax Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Manager with winery experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and review federal, state, and local tax returns for winery, vineyard, and agribusiness clients
• Manage tax planning, compliance, and consulting projects specific to the wine industry
• Oversee and review ASC 740 tax provision work and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA license, EA, or JD
• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience, with at least 2 years in the winery or agribusiness sector
• Experience in reviewing complex tax returns and managing staff
• Strong understanding of wine production cycles and agricultural cost accounting preferred
