Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare organization, the remote California Licensed Tax Manager will manage tax compliance, planning, and strategic initiatives while collaborating with executive leadership to evaluate tax implications of growth initiatives and new market expansions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings
- Identify and implement tax-efficient strategies aligned with the organization's operational and financial objectives
- Provide tax analysis and structuring support for acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or taxation; master's in taxation preferred; CPA preferred
- Seven to ten years of tax experience in public accounting, healthcare, or corporate tax
- Strong experience with multi-state taxation and complex entity structures
- Experience supporting tax planning and structuring initiatives
- Public company experience strongly preferred; healthcare or nonprofit experience highly preferred
