Job Summary
To support a growing network of educational partnerships, the fully remote California Licensed Teacher of the Visually Impaired will deliver virtual instruction, develop lesson plans, and engage students in a 1:1 weekly session while working as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
Key responsibilities
- Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform and develop aligned lesson plans
- Engage and nurture student learning through relationship-focused strategies and track student performance
- Access the educator portal to select job openings and attend district professional development sessions
Required qualifications
- Valid California Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Experience with online teaching is a plus
