Job Summary

Leading a dynamic team from a remote location, the full-time California Licensed Team Manager will oversee disability claims management, ensuring investigations are conducted, claims are managed, and resolutions are timely while adhering to company and client guidelines.

Key responsibilities
  • Establish performance standards, conduct appraisals, and administer corrective actions in line with HR policies
  • Review and assign claims to examiners, ensuring balanced workloads and timely closures
  • Coach team members on investigations and compliance standards, while keeping leadership informed of activities and issues
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Five or more years of progressive experience as a Claim Examiner with technical expertise
  • Previous supervisory experience desirable
  • Thorough knowledge of insurance coverages and practices
  • State licensing requirements for relevant lines of insurance handled
