California Licensed Technical Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical California Licensed Technical Accounting Senior Analyst, this full-time position will support the organization's accounting policy and technical accounting analysis, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS while collaborating with cross-functional teams for accurate financial reporting and disclosures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, interpret, and apply US GAAP and IFRS to support accurate accounting conclusions and financial reporting
• Prepare clear, well-supported technical accounting memoranda for complex and non-routine transactions
• Support Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and J-SOX compliance, including documentation and evaluation of controls related to complex accounting areas

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required (or active pursuit)
• 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on technical accounting in a public company or SEC regulated environment
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS reporting considerations
• Demonstrated experience researching, interpreting, and documenting complex accounting topics and non-routine transactions
• Familiarity with SOX requirements and internal controls related to complex accounting areas
