Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Telehealth Physician, the independent contractor will provide remote synchronous video consultations for patients with cardiometabolic conditions, focusing on medical assessments, recommendations, and documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct synchronous telehealth consultations for patients with diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and hyperlipidemia
- Perform medical assessments, review patient histories, and address concerns during appointments
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters in the electronic health record system
Required qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license in the state of California
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Obesity Medicine, or a related specialty
- Experience treating cardiometabolic conditions such as type 2 diabetes and hypertension
- Prior telemedicine experience preferred
