Job Summary

A company is looking for a Title Examiner who will be responsible for examining titles and researching public records in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform title examination and analyze the chain of title for residential properties
• Resolve issues related to missing or inaccurate title documentation and prepare initial title commitment documentation
• Prepare and review reports for accuracy and summarize recorded documents affecting property titles

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in searching and examining titles, particularly with refinance and resale transactions
• Experience in California title examination
• Strong customer service focus
• Proficient typing skills (55 WPM)
