Job Summary
To support real estate transactions, the full-time California Licensed Title Examiner will examine public records and titles for commercial properties, ensuring legal compliance and insurability while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Compiles and investigates public and tax records to assess the legal condition and insurability of commercial or industrial property titles
- Prepares accurate title commitments in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Manages workload independently while collaborating with team members to ensure quality support
Required qualifications
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
- Familiarity with title examination software such as Data Trace, Title Data, or SoftPro is a plus
- Experience with commercial property title examination is preferred
- Knowledge of back plants and the ability to deed plot acreage tracts is desirable
