A company is looking for a Trade and Export Compliance Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel and advise on U.S. and international trade law, focusing on export compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate compliance programs and initiatives
• Conduct internal audits and monitor changes in global trade regulations

Required Qualifications

• J.D. and admission to one state bar, preferably California
• 8+ years of experience in export compliance or international trade law
• Strong understanding of U.S. export control laws and related regulations
• Ability to identify and work with outside counsel
• Experience in making judgment calls and articulating risks and tradeoffs
