California Licensed Trade Specialist

Job Summary

Managing the BIM/VDC workflow for all projects, the full-time California Licensed Trade Specialist will oversee a team of Modelers and BIM Technicians, ensuring timely deliverables while providing support to Operations and the field teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintains clear communication between Virtual Construction, Manufacturing, Operations, and field teams
• Supervises a team of Modelers, BIM Technicians, and Detailers to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget
• Identifies construction requirements and opportunities for manufacturing for each project, establishing means and methods for detailing and installation

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial/industrial construction
• 5+ years of experience as a Foreman managing projects, personnel, schedules, budgets, and scopes
• Extensive knowledge of trade-specific codes and general knowledge of all building codes
• Proficient in cross-referencing plans across all trades and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Bluebeam)
• Must be technologically savvy and adaptable to new software and technologies
