Key responsibilities:
- Draft and review transactional and corporate documents, including contracts and entity formation materials
- Provide transactional support on California matters, applying California-specific law where relevant
- Review and negotiate contract terms on behalf of clients or established practices engaging new personnel
Required qualifications:
- Actively barred in California with four or more years of experience as a barred attorney
- Residing in Illinois
- Experienced in the preparation and negotiation of contracts
- Background in regulatory and transactional work, with a focus on corporate or contracts experience
- Extremely detail-oriented and able to deliver error-free work under tight deadlines
