Job Summary

To enhance translation services, the full-time California Licensed Translation Coordinator will develop, coordinate, and manage translation programs, conduct proficiency testing, and oversee workflow for translation assignments while working onsite in Palo Alto, CA.

Key responsibilities
  • Conducts translating proficiency testing for interpreter employees and interns
  • Coordinates workflow of translation assignments and ensures successful project completion
  • Develops language/translation courses and educational meetings for staff
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in translation and interpretation from an accredited institution
  • Three years of progressively responsible experience in translation services
  • ATA certification or a Master's degree in translation and interpretation
  • High proficiency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and cultural factors affecting communication
