California Licensed Transplant Coordinator

Job Summary

To provide critical support for organ transplantation, the full-time California Licensed Transplant Coordinator will manage on-call responsibilities for deceased donor organ offers, triage patient calls, and coordinate organ recovery efforts remotely while ensuring 24/7 coverage on a rotating schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Review and triage deceased donor organ offers for transplant candidates
• Coordinate organ recovery with medical teams, surgeons, and other relevant departments
• Delegate call-related duties and assist with urgent transfers as needed

Required qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN) issued by the state of California
• Minimum of three years of solid organ transplant on-call experience at a multi-organ transplant center
• Strong critical thinking skills to manage complex information and responsibilities
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate interpersonal skills
