A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar in Emergency Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data abstraction, coding, and entry into the trauma database using ICD-9 and AIS coding
• Participate in trauma performance improvement processes and validate data accuracy
• Attend trauma meetings and maintain competency through continuing education

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Less than two years of professional experience in nursing, medical records, or a health-related field
• Completion of the American Trauma Society Registrar Course within one year of hire
• Completion of AAAM's Abbreviated Injury Scale Course within one year of hire
• Most current ICD-10 Course Completion within one year of hire
