Job Summary

Supporting the Trauma Program remotely, the full-time California Licensed Trauma Registrar will assist with the collection, abstraction, entry, validation, and maintenance of trauma patient data to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and support performance improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the identification and tracking of trauma patients meeting registry inclusion criteria
• Abstract clinical data from various medical records and enter it accurately into the trauma registry database
• Support trauma program performance improvement initiatives through data collection and reporting

Required qualifications

• Three years of related experience
• Completion of an anatomy or medical terminology course
• Knowledge of ICD 10 coding
• Certificate from a trauma registry course
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
