California Licensed Triage Nurse

Job Summary

Working remotely in the Pacific Time Zone, the part-time California Licensed Triage Nurse will manage patient onboarding for alcohol use disorder treatment, conduct screenings, provide education on treatment options, and coordinate care with clinical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and conducts screenings for alcohol use disorder to determine program eligibility
• Educates patients on treatment protocols, including breathalyzer use and medication options
• Completes initial nursing intakes and schedules follow-up appointments for patients

Required qualifications

• Active RN license, with a preference for a compact and California license
• 3-5 years of clinical experience, preferably in addiction medicine
• At least one year of telemedicine experience is preferred
• Tech-savvy with an understanding of data security protocols
• Availability to work weekends, including both Saturday and Sunday
