Job Summary

Working remotely in the Pacific Time Zone, the Clinical Intake/Triage Nurse will manage patient onboarding and follow-up care for alcohol use disorder, ensuring effective screening, education on treatment options, and coordination with clinical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and conducts screenings for alcohol use disorder to determine program eligibility
• Educates patients on treatment processes, including breathalyzer use and medication expectations
• Completes initial nursing intake and schedules appointments while maintaining communication with healthcare providers

Required qualifications

• Active RN license, with preference for a compact and California license
• 3-5 years of clinical experience, preferably in addiction medicine
• At least one year of telemedicine experience preferred
• Strong understanding of addiction pharmacology and harm reduction strategies
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism
