California Licensed Triage RN

Job Summary

To provide essential after-hours support, the per diem California Licensed Triage RN will manage inbound and outbound calls, coordinate telehealth meetings, and troubleshoot logistical care delivery issues while working remotely and being available for weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Handle calls and respond appropriately within the nursing scope of practice, consulting with on-call providers as needed
• Coordinate telehealth meetings between participants and clinicians to ensure timely care delivery
• Troubleshoot and resolve logistical care delivery issues, escalating to management when necessary

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing with an unencumbered RN license
• Nursing knowledge and skills necessary to manage complex clinical situations for frail, elderly participants
• Ability to work assigned shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent clinical, organizational, and communication skills in settings with seniors and interdisciplinary teams
• Highly motivated and self-directed, capable of making sound decisions in emergency situations
