California Licensed Trial Attorney

Job Summary

Representing the interests of insured clients, the full-time California Licensed Trial Attorney will defend claims under insurance policies, manage a caseload of complex matters, and communicate litigation progress while working primarily remotely with occasional travel to Northern California for court appearances.

Key responsibilities

• Defend claims on behalf of insured clients and ensure no conflict of interest exists
• Manage a full caseload of minimally to moderately complex legal matters, including trial representation
• Prepare legal documents and communicate updates on litigation strategies to policyholders and claims associates

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor Degree
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in taking and defending depositions, court appearances, and retaining expert witnesses
• Valid California license to practice law in good standing
• Bilingual candidates are preferred
