Job Summary

Supporting the underwriting team, the full-time California Licensed Underwriter I will assist with processing new business, endorsements, and renewals while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Process new business underwriting, endorsements, and renewals as assigned
• Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
• Maintain production and quality standards while adhering to underwriting guidelines and deadlines

Required qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in insurance support
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with policy and accounting systems
• Completion of Brown & Brown University School of Service Personal Lines Courses is preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• California P&C License is a plus but not required
