Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter III, Specialty Loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate loan documents for accuracy and compliance with standards
• Analyze loan applications to identify potential fraud or misrepresentation
• Provide options and recommendations to borrowers regarding suitable loan programs

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college courses in Business, Finance/Accounting, or related fields preferred
• Eight or more years of underwriting experience, with three years in specialty loans
• Direct Endorsement (DE) certification required, along with other relevant certifications
• Expert-level knowledge of mortgage lending processes and underwriting requirements
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and exercise independent judgment
