Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed production targets and ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines
• Mentor and develop staff while supervising a multi-person team
• Solicit and negotiate insurance coverage for new and existing business

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation
• Three years of experience in underwriting or brokering E&S insurance products
• Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
• Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with agencies and carriers
