Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Team Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the underwriting process and provide leadership and support to the underwriting team
• Oversee loan approvals and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and company policies
• Train and mentor junior and senior underwriters while monitoring productivity and performance

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Current underwriting experience in the mortgage industry is essential
• Familiarity with automated underwriting systems and loan program products
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including HMDA and Regulation Z
• Previous team lead or supervisory experience desired
