California Licensed Utilization Management Assistant

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the California Licensed Utilization Management Assistant will support the Care Management team by performing complex tasks related to patient assessment and management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Care Management team, facilitating coordination of patient care
• Assist in the management of patient assessments and ongoing care activities
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective communication and service delivery

Required qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a hospital, clinical setting, or healthcare-related field
• 3 years of demonstrated outstanding customer service experience
• 3 years of clerical and computer experience
• 3 years of knowledge in insurance billing and managed care
• Completion of some college-level coursework or equivalent experience preferred
