Job Summary

Providing essential support to the Care Management team, the part-time California Licensed Utilization Management Assistant will perform complex tasks related to patient assessment and management in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Care Management team in coordinating patient care and managing ongoing assessments
• Perform clerical tasks and maintain accurate documentation related to patient management and insurance billing
• Deliver outstanding customer service while collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure quality care

Required qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a hospital, clinical setting, or healthcare-related field
• 3 years of demonstrated customer service experience
• 3 years of clerical and computer experience
• 3 years of knowledge in insurance billing and managed care
