Job Summary

Supporting the Care Management team, the part-time Senior Utilization Management Assistant will perform complex tasks related to patient assessment and management while working remotely on a per diem basis.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Care Management team in coordinating patient care and managing ongoing assessments
• Perform clerical tasks and maintain accurate records related to patient management and insurance billing
• Provide outstanding customer service and support to patients and healthcare team members

Required qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a hospital, clinical setting, or healthcare-related field
• 3 years of demonstrated outstanding customer service experience
• 3 years of clerical and computer experience
• 3 years of knowledge in insurance billing and managed care
