California Licensed Utilization Management Assistant

Job Summary

To support the Care Management team, the per diem California Licensed Utilization Management Assistant will perform complex tasks related to patient assessment and management, working remotely during 8-hour day shifts.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Care Management team in coordinating patient care
• Assist in the initial and ongoing assessment and management of patients
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective care delivery

Required qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in a hospital, clinical setting, or healthcare-related field
• 3 years of demonstrated outstanding customer service experience
• 3 years of clerical and computer experience
• 3 years of knowledge of insurance billing and managed care
• Completion of some college-level coursework or equivalent education/experience preferred
