Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Vice President of Design, the full-time remote executive will lead and expand the municipal Water/Wastewater design business, managing projects from inception to completion and fostering client relationships while leveraging technical expertise in wastewater treatment plant design.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the design and delivery of wastewater treatment projects, ensuring exceptional execution and client satisfaction
- Engage with clients to identify and spearhead new business opportunities within the California water sector
- Recruit, mentor, and develop top technical talent to strengthen the design team's capabilities
Required qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in municipal water and wastewater treatment plant design
- Managed the design/project management of at least two wastewater treatment plants valued over $100 million
- Registered Professional Engineer in California
- Strong connections with regional and local clients and subconsultants
