Job Summary

To improve access to high-quality care for perinatal patients, the part-time California Licensed Virtual Doula will provide emotional, physical, and informational support to expectant parents remotely, assisting them through pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide virtual support to expectant parents via video calls, phone calls, and text messages throughout pregnancy and postpartum
• Assist patients in creating personalized birth plans and offer guidance on labor and delivery processes
• Collaborate with the virtual maternity care team to ensure comprehensive care for patients

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Doula or L&D RN
• Completed certification and training as a birth and/or full-spectrum doula
• In-depth understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery
• Experience using telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems
