California Licensed Virtual Therapist

Job Summary

To support individuals living with serious mental illness, the part-time California Licensed Virtual Therapist will deliver high-quality group therapy and individual psychotherapy remotely, collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team while maintaining clinical documentation and providing evidence-based care.

Key responsibilities

• Lead virtual group therapy sessions, fostering engagement and connection among participants
• Provide individual psychotherapy as part of members' treatment plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and coordinated treatment for patients

Required qualifications

• Active license or registration to practice as a therapist in California (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Licensed Psychologist, AMFT, ACSW, or APCC)
• 1 year of experience working with adult patients with severe mental illness (SMI)
• Experience leading virtual group therapy sessions with knowledge of evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, MI)
• Available weekday mornings and evenings (Pacific Time) to meet client needs
• Technologically savvy and able to navigate new tools effectively
