Job Summary
Providing exceptional virtual veterinary care, the part-time California Licensed Virtual Veterinarian will manage diagnostic tasks, communicate treatment plans to clients, and collaborate with practice doctors while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Process diagnostic results and medical inquiries, formulating and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding lab findings and preventive care recommendations
- Collaborate with other veterinarians to ensure continuity of care and address client service issues
Required qualifications
- Graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school or completion of required clinical proficiency exams for foreign graduates
- Licensure in good standing in the state of California
- At least two years of experience in small animal veterinary medicine and surgery
- Competence in performing surgical and dental procedures typical in a general small animal practice
- Ability to work with various diagnostic modalities, including digital radiography and laboratory tests
