Job Summary
To support a growing team, a California Licensed Wealth Planning Attorney will provide sophisticated case consultation and strategic guidance for high-net-worth clients, focusing on estate and business planning, while working full-time in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with attorneys, CFPs, and CPAs to create comprehensive estate and business plans for high-net-worth clients
- Assess clients' financial circumstances and develop targeted strategies to support informed decision-making
- Lead presentations with credibility and influence, engaging effectively with clients and their outside advisors
Required qualifications
- JD from an accredited program; additional advanced degree or designations (e.g., CFP, CPA, LL.M.) preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of estate and business planning experience, preferably in a consulting role
- Extensive experience with high-net-worth clients in advanced planning and tax optimization
- Deep knowledge in estate and business succession, as well as wealth transfer strategies
- FINRA Series 6 or 7 and state insurance license within the first 6 months of hire
