Job Summary

California Licensed Wetlands Scientist, this full-time remote position involves supporting the Wetlands Protection Program through technical review, quality control, and oversight of consultant work products related to wetlands and waterway jurisdictional delineation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical reviews and quality control of wetlands and waterway jurisdictional delineation reports and project permit applications
• Coordinate and communicate with on-call consultants and various environmental and construction teams to ensure project compliance and tracking
• Support permitting strategies and ensure compliance with federal and state water quality protection regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years of general Water Quality compliance experience
• 3 years of experience in regulatory permitting and negotiation in California
• 2 years of jurisdictional water and wetland delineation experience
• 2 years of resource and project planning experience
